My name is Bente Kronborg and I am also Danish married to my Danish husband Gregers. We have 2 children Maximilian (ACS Graduate 2017) and Katherina currently attending grade 11.  We have been @ ACS for 7 years.

I am the Danish Country Representative and am looking forward to help new Danes joining ACS get settled in and to get to know you.

As a group we overall offer opportunities to connect with other Danes through various initiatives such as coffee mornings, flag raising and an annual party …just to name a few! Our group participates in the International Fair and Party for the Planet showcasing either Danish products, promoting prominent worthy Danes, cities or traditions.

This group works on a volunteering basis which means that we will need YOUR help throughout the school year to ensure we continue to support, promote and participate in making our Danish children proud of their nationality and keeping traditions alive. Volunteering can be anything from throwing a coffee morning at home, making juice at the Party for the Planet, participating to organise a Danish theme for our stand @ the annual International Fair to decorating for Danish Flagday!

None of the above can happen without YOUR support – Please join in and contribute in any way you can making this school year as special as can be.

Volunteering is also an excellent way to socially meet other Danes as well as having fun along the way!

Not to be mistaken for this group (CRG Country Representatives Group) the PSO (Parents Social Organisation) is also an important part of the puzzle who help unite, inform & organise various events hence please do look out for PSO information by logging into Powerschool, the schools intranet. Regardless of nationality/class the PSO works across all ranges.

We also have an NLE (Native Language Enrichment Program) for the Danish community. Please liase direct with Nina Nørregaard, or Joan Laursen about this.
