Parents are part of the ACS Community too. Check out these activities to get involved, have fun and make friends.

ACS Voices is a choir for the adult members of the ACS community, including parents, teachers and staff.  Founded in 2016 by Kristin Polman and Livia Spinolo, the choir sings a broad range of accompanied and unaccompanied music including traditional choral music, carols, spirituals, and popular and folk songs arranged for choirs.

The group rehearses on Thursday evenings at 8pm in the Lower School music room and performs at school concerts and community functions throughout the year such as Party for the Planet, Christmas gatherings and beginning/end of year events.

ACS Voices is not formally auditioned, but at least two years of choral singing experience is required of new members and singers should be comfortable learning music on their own. We accept new members at any time throughout the year, so please do get in touch with Musical Director Kristin Polman at

Musical Director Kristin Polman brings over 27 years of choral singing experience and has a certificate in choral directing from the Association of British Choral Directors.  She has sung with groups including the London Oriana Choir, Columbia Bach Society, Princeton Chapel Choir, Westminster Conservatory Chorale and ACDA National Women’s Chorus, has performed on numerous choral music albums and sang with Alfie Bowe, Billy Idol and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall premier of Pete Townshend’s Classic Quadrophenia, televised on Sky Arts.

ACS Cobham has a small but growing number of stay at home Dads and working from home Dads.  There is an informal “Dads Lunch” group that meets up at local restaurants & pubs on a semi-regular basis.  If you would like to be included please email Scott Henry @
